Implant Denture Maintenance
Caring for your implant-supported dentures is similar to caring for your natural teeth:
- Brush your dentures twice a day using a soft toothbrush, but avoid regular toothpaste, as it can scratch them. Use a non-abrasive denture cleanser instead.
- Always brush your gums, tongue, and the roof of your mouth to remove as much bacteria as possible.
- Use a water flosser or interdental brush to clean around your implants.
- Schedule regular dental checkups every six months; this gives us the chance to ensure your remaining teeth, implants, dentures, and gums are in optimal shape.
